The Turning of the Tide

David Icke explains: “What happens in practice is that if you look at all the dogmas in all cultures, all societies have what I call a ‘hassle-free zone.’ It is that area within any culture, within each dogma (religious, economic, political etc) wherein if you conform to it, you are in the comfort zone. No one’s going to laugh at you, condemn you for being different, or for expressing your uniqueness, because you are locked into the herd mentality, and you are conforming to what you are told you should be and do. When you step out of this mind-set and express your unique aspect of all that exists and refuse to be frightened, or controlled, you immediately face ridicule or condemnation as I have in England.” “THE SHEEPLE” “Whatever happened to living? The vast majority of people, rich and poor, on this planet are enslaved. Enslaved by the system’s robotic programming, its economic imprisonment, and by their own refusal to think, question and find the liberation that comes with an open mind. We don’t live in a free society, we live as robots in a society in which you are free to do what the society wants you to do – produce and consume – that’s the reality.

Nap-town has been OCCUPIED!
Yesterday we the people occupied Indianapolis, In. Watch out B-town we have been here all along!
We will begin the peaceful occupation of the People's Park at 6pm on Sunday October 9th.
Here are the basics!
We have decided not to have a specific goal or message for this event because each person is drawn to this movement for a specific reason and that is part of what makes us powerful. We will have an event board so that if you are interested in working on a specific event or action you can post your interests and see who else wants to take part.
We will use this park as a central hub to plan other events and actions in different areas. If you are a part of Occupy Bloomington we ask that you keep all illegal drugs and alcohol off the premise. It is important that we show that we are serious and we do not want others to have any excuse to question our motives.
If you have a tent or any camping supplies please bring what you have. Every Little Helps. If you are not able to stay at the site, but still want to help or show support we have a variety of things that are JUST AS IMPORTANT as actually camping out. We all have different passions and skills and this will be most successful if everyone is willing to bring something to the movement.
We want this to be a wonderful kickoff so if you have any instruments please bring them along! Also bring poster board, paints, brushes and whatever else you can grab because we are going to have an arts and crafts night as well. if you have any ideas on how to make this a great kickoff, please suggest it!
Bring food to share as well and we can have a sort of impromptu picnic to celebrate the start of our occupation.
We have decided to not to adopt an abrasive position with law enforcement but remember that a conversation just about the weather can quickly turn into something much more heated. Exercise extreme caution when speaking with the Police.
It is important that we show solidarity not only with the protestors on Wall Street but within the Indiana movement and on a personal level with each other. Remember, together we are the 99%, alone we are 1 in 7 billion.
